Job DescriptionThe role is individually accountable for the extraction, transformation, and analysis of data, including descriptive and exploratory data analysis. It focuses on enabling the business to effectively manage and leverage large volumes of data from diverse sources, driving innovative, data-driven solutions that enhance operational and strategic outcomes.To support the development of analytics and reporting capabilities by delivering high-quality insights to stakeholders. This role acts as a bridge between business requirements and data solutions, ensuring data integrity, producing actionable reports, and maintaining secure and efficient database environments to enable informed strategic decision-making.MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE JOB DESCRIPTIONIngesting large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional requirements.Extracts data from various internal and external sources for Business units and team.Codes, tests and implements query programs.Conduct in depth analyses & statistical requirements.Interpret data, provide insights & support for strategy and collaboration.Translates complex data and/or instructions into meaningful outcomes.Analyse and provides recommendations on data findings.Analyses data to support business requirementsIdentify new business opportunities via statistical and data analysis.Performs data manipulation and descriptive/ exploratory data analysis.Responsible for creating end to end solutions which includes problem definition, data acquisition, data exploration and visualization.Presents results to stakeholders.Performs statistical analysis in support of business objectives.Application of, machine learning and data science techniques.Proactively seeks new knowledge in statistical analysis.Ingesting large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional requirements.Personal effectiveness Accepts and lives the company values.Accountable for service delivery through own efforts.Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results.Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality.Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skillsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED FOR THE JOB)B degree that includes Economic, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems and/or Finance7+ years knowledge & experience in a data environment.Proficient in excel (advanced excel is advantageous)Experience using BI tools (SQL, SAS, Excel and PowerBI) is essentialADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED, NOT A REQUIREMENT)Experience in working in the Agile methodology.Agile certification/training preferred. naSkillsAction Planning, Application Development, Business Requirements Analysis, Computer Literacy, Data Compilation, Data Controls, Data Management, Data Modeling, Executing Plans, Gap Analysis, IT Network Sec...
