In this role, you will ensure system functionality, performance, and reliability through structured testing strategies and tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate transaction flows, identify risks, and improve quality outcomes. Success is measured by the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of testing processes and defect identification.What You Will Be DoingExecute test plans for debit certification using simulated transactions in controlled environmentsMaintain and enhance manual and automated test scripts, tools, and data setsAnalyze system performance, usability, reliability, scalability, and security through structured testingIdentify, document, and communicate defects, risks, and test results to stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to validate configurations and ensure system readinessManage daily testing activities, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines independentlySupport risk identification and contribute to mitigation strategies during testing cyclesProvide internal quality assurance to ensure testing accuracy and compliance with standardsUtilize testing tools and utilities to improve efficiency and coverage of test executionContinuously improve testing processes, documentation, and reporting practicesRequired QualificationsDemonstrated experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validationHands-on experience with test script creation, execution, and maintenanceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailEffective verbal and written communication skills for technical reportingAbility to manage priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reportingExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a structured testing environmentAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentialityPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of banking systems, payment processing, or financial technology platformsFamiliarity with debit networks or transaction processing workflowsExperience with automated testing tools or test management platformsStrong skills in risk analysis, defect management, and quality improvement practicesAbility to manage conflict, facilitate collaboration, and influence outcomesWhat We Offer youAt FIS, you can grow your career as far as you want to take it.
