Job Duties: Define and drive the product strategy, roadmap, and technical specifications for private equity fund accounting SaaS platform. Utilize private capital operations and financial services software to inform product strategy, system design, and feature development. Translate complex business requirements into detailed product specifications that specify data models, system architecture constraints, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams. Author and maintain technical specifications for calculation logic, error handling patterns, and versioning strategies. Evaluate and make architectural trade-off decisions involving database schema design, data pipeline architecture, and query performance optimization in SQL data stores that underpin core financial calculation engines.
