Position Overview and ObjectiveAs a Senior Quality Engineer integrated within our cloud engineering teams, you'll drive quality excellence across the full software development lifecycle, working as a technical contributor who shapes product reliability from requirements through deployment. This is not a traditional QA role - you're a collaborative partner alongside developers, ensuring scalable, secure backend systems meet customer security needs.What You'll DoEnhance and extend existing test automation frameworks for cloud services and APIsBuild and maintain sophisticated test environments and cloud infrastructureWrite automated tests for UI testing.Write automated tests for microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecturesDebug complex integration issues across multi-service environmentsDevelop custom testing tools and adapt existing tools to suit the team's testing needsSetup and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated testing and quality gatesAuthor and review comprehensive test plans, identifying testing opportunities the development team may have missedPartner with development teams from day one of feature development with a customer-focused mindsetCustomer-focused approach to testing and quality validationStrong teaming and communication skills for cross-functional team collaboration across global time zonesWhat You BringTechnical Expertise:5-8 years in quality engineering with experience integrated within development teamsProgramming Skills: Python / Go / Rust for test automation / scripting.Testing Frameworks: Experience with frameworks like Ginkgo / Cucumber / PytestCloud Platforms: Hands-on AWS experience with infrastructure as code.API & Integration Testing: Experience validating REST APIs, Microservices, and distributed systems.CI/CD: Jenkins, Docker, Terraform, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions.Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, MCP, Webhooks, Cybersecurity principles and cloud security best practicesOn-Camera PolicyTo support a fair, transparent, and engaging interview experience, candidates interviewing remotely are expected to be on camera during all video interviews.
