Senior Resident Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished and highly experienced Senior Resident Engineer to lead site supervision and construction delivery oversight for a large-scale building project in Dubai, UAE. This client-facing leadership role requires strong technical expertise in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering, with proven experience supervising complex construction works, coordinating multidisciplinary site teams, and ensuring that project execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, quality standards, safety expectations, and project objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing supervision and construction activities for similar-sized buildings, preferably within data center, mission-critical, industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale commercial developments. The role also requires a strong awareness of construction contracts, contract administration, claims, variations, and contractual obligations. You will play a key role in representing the client’s interests on site, coordinating with contractors, consultants, engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure construction works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the project’s technical, commercial, schedule, and quality requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead site supervision activities across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and related construction works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and project requirements. Serve as the senior site representative and primary technical interface between the client, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Oversee construction progress, site activities, inspections, technical coordination, quality performance, and contractor execution. Monitor contractor performance to ensure works are completed safely, on schedule, within quality expectations, and in accordance with contractual obligations. Review construction methodologies, method statements, inspection and test plans, material submittals, shop drawings, technical submissions, and site execution plans.
