The Role: We are seeking a diligent and driven application security engineer with strong hands-on technical skills, proven problem solving ability and excellent communication skills. As an application security engineer at WorldQuant you will work closely with our technologists, researchers and portfolio managers to define application security best practices, perform software architecture and design reviews, conduct white box security testing, and support the identification, interpretation, and remediation of vulnerabilities across a variety of applications, programming languages, and platforms. Responsibilities (including but not limited to):         Develop new tools to assist developers and users to perform their work securely and more efficiently         Operate and manage WorldQuant’s secrets and authentication management tool instances         Develop tooling for continuous audit, code analysis and other security analysis activities         Provide support for existing Application Security team products.         Develop new features for existing Application Security team products, such as OIDC IDPs, Workload Identity tools, CA infrastructure and Cloud assessment tools - includes both proprietary and deeply integrated third party tools         Develop management tools and provide support for foundational components such as Kerberos, SSH, SSL and more.
