You will be joining as a member of the Storage Team which is responsible for the design, project delivery, and ongoing operation/support of all storage and backup systems within Man group. The Storage team is a team of three engineers. The Platform Engineering Department is a close-knit team of highly skilled individuals comprising Windows, Linux, DBA, and network support. We strive for perfection in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment. While providing a high performance, scalable infrastructure to an agile organisation. We are in the process of transforming our Storage Infrastructure to be more automated, agile, and user driven. We use DevOps principles, scripting, infrastructure as code, open source and cloud technologies combined with Enterprise storage products from vendors such as Pure Storage, Rubrik and VAST to achieve these goals. Technologies used at Man Group include: Pure Flash Array, and Flash Blade, VAST, DELL PowerStore, Rubrik Data Platform, NetApp Hybrid & All-Flash, MS Azure Cloud Storage, iSCSI transport protocol, Prometheus and Grafana, Python, PowerShell, Git, & Service-Now.
