In this dynamic role, you will provide technical oversight and expertise for the development of the AN/SQQ-89 Advanced Baselines, primarily focusing on surface Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) functional areas, including Contact Management and Weapons Control. Responsibilities: - Technical Oversight: Provide guidance to integrator developers, ensuring performance and interface requirements are met for the AN/SQQ-89 Advanced Baselines. - Engineering Analysis: Conduct comprehensive engineering reviews, including but not limited to: - Performance Specification (P-Spec) baseline releases - Functional Description Document (FDD) baseline releases - Interface Design Specifications (IDS) Requirements Management: Actively participate in the AN/SQQ-89 Requirements Working Group to address performance requirements for Cruiser-Destroyer (CRUDES) platforms and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) baselines. U.S. Citizenship with an Active SECRET U.S. Government Clearance (required). Subject Matter Expertise: Participate in Bug Adjudication Board meetings to analyze reported issues within installed baselines.Required Qualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, scientific, or technical discipline from an accredited institution, or Ten (10) years of relevant, demonstrated experience in combat systems, command & control systems, and simulation/stimulation systems related to Surface Ship Undersea Warfare (USW) for U.S. and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) platforms. Experience:Minimum of ten (10) years of professional systems engineering experience in support of Undersea Warfare, including the following: Proficiency in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex engineering challenges within platform, weapon, C2, and combat systems for Navy/Joint Warfighting capabilities. Experience with both Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software technologies.
