Own It.We are launching a nearly 400,000‑square‑foot, state‑of‑the‑art distribution center and looking for a results-driven Service Center Warehouse Inbound Manager to lead this exciting new operation in Brandywine, MD.This is not a “plug‑and‑play” role. It’s a rare opportunity to build an operation—and a team—from the ground up, shaping performance, culture, and long‑term success from day one.As a leader in an employee‑owned Fortune 500 company, you won’t just manage a facility—you’ll help create something lasting while sharing directly in the company’s success.Work Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm or depending on business needs.Compensation Details: The expected base salary for this position is $82,000 annually, more depending on experience.This position is also bonus eligible - based on specific and relevant business metrics.The Day-to-DayLead and manage the receiving team to ensure safe, timely, and efficient unloading of inbound freightOversee daily inbound schedules, labor planning, and dock door utilization to maintain strong flow and productivityEnsure all freight is accurately checked in, verified against documentation, and inspected for damage upon receiptEnforce standard receiving and unloading processes to minimize dwell time and prevent congestionMaintain accurate inventory data in the WMS through proper receiving, system transactions, and discrepancy resolutionMonitor inbound KPIs such as unload time, receiving accuracy, damage rate, and inventory integrityPartner with Inventory, Quality, and Operations teams to resolve shortages, overages, and receiving errorsProvide support and coordination for inbound damage claims related to inventory or freight partnersConduct floor audits to ensure proper pallet builds, labeling, storage practices, and equipment useCoach supervisors and associates on safe handling, accuracy, and efficiency expectationsIdentify and implement process improvements to reduce damage, improve speed, and increase accuracyCommunicate inbound risks or delays early to protect downstream operations and customer commitmentsIn this role you will:Manage all aspects of workforce management including hiring, training, evaluating, mentoring, rewarding, disciplining, and succession planning. Train team on all aspects of applicable business systems, including the use of the system features to improve accuracy and efficiency of all assigned processes.Manage activities of employees engaged in loading/unloading, selecting, packing, shipping, receiving, and transporting of merchandise; maximize warehouse efficiency by recommending workstation changes and other work improvements as dictated by material stocking re...
