This position will be onsite.What you will doLead capital projects from concept development through commissioning, serving as the single point of accountability for project deliveryDefine project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with engineering, operations, and site leadershipDevelop and execute comprehensive project plans, including cost estimates, schedules, risk mitigation strategies, and resource planningManage project performance to meet or exceed safety, cost, schedule, and quality objectivesCoordinate and lead cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders and driving alignment across engineering, operations, and leadershipOversee engineering design, contractor performance, and EPC activities to ensure high-quality executionEnsure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal project controls while promoting continuous improvement and constructability best practicesWhat you bringRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience leading capital projects in manufacturing, industrial, or plant environmentsProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence diverse stakeholdersStrong knowledge of project controls, including cost forecasting, scheduling, and risk managementWorking knowledge of process safety management (PSM), management of change (MOC), and relevant regulatory requirementsIt’d be great if you also have:Experience in chemical, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environmentsBackground in front-end loading (FEL) and stage-gate project development processesExperience managing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractorsFamiliarity with SAP Project Systems (PS) or similar project management toolsAbility to develop, evaluate, and communicate project business casesStrong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in complex project environmentsDemonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellenceBenefits of joining AlbemarleCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits packageA diverse array of resources to support you professionally and ...
