Thread AI

Thread AI is focused on building an AI-native workflow orchestration engine looking for dedicated individuals to join its growing team. Our goal is to make infrastructure simple for enterprises and public sector agencies seeking to get the most from AI.

Headquartered in New York, our growing team is a group of AI, product, and engineering experts, who have a track record of creating and executing against complex workflows and infrastructure.

Engineering Culture

We're a small and committed technical team that oversees engineering, research, design, product, and operations. We believe that a small dedicated team with a flat structure and collaborative culture can move faster and build better products than large hierarchical organizations.

About The Role

We are looking for a skilled software engineer with a strong foundation in infrastructure to play a key role in ensuring our platform is scalable, reliable, and capable of supporting complex network topologies. AI infrastructure cuts across many verticals, and we’re looking for curious and creative minds who are determined problem solvers and thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering role

- 3+ years of software engineering experience in at least one programming language such as Java, Go or Python

- 5+ years of experience with development or infrastructure as code tools, including but not limited to Terraform and Helm

- 5+ years of experience designing, maintaining, optimizing, and supporting Kubernetes

- 3+ years of experience working in public cloud environments (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure)

- Deep understanding of Cloud Native technologies in Infrastructure layer, Provisioning layer, Runtime layer, Orchestration layer and Application development layer

- Expert knowledge of configuration and best practices around Kubernetes as well as related services like DNS, load balancing, networking,...
