About the Role At Advanced Space, we're enabling humanity's return to the Moon and building the technologies that will take us to Mars and beyond. We're looking for a Solutions Architect to lead the technical vision and strategic growth of one of our innovation portfolios while helping shape the next generation of space technologies. In this role, you'll work closely with the CTO, Business Development, engineering teams, and executive leadership to define technology roadmaps, identify new opportunities, and transform innovative concepts into funded programs and flight-ready capabilities. You'll bridge technical strategy with business growth, ensuring our portfolio continues to advance the state of the art while supporting NASA, commercial, civil, and national security missions. We're looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, strategy, and customer engagement—someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, influencing the future direction of space technology, and helping turn ambitious ideas into reality. Partner with the CTO to define and evolve the long-term technology strategy for your portfolio. Identify capability gaps, evaluate emerging technologies, and develop roadmaps that align technical innovation with company objectives and customer needs. Lead technical strategy and solution development. Develop high-level mission concepts and technical architectures that position Advanced Space for future growth. Support proposal efforts by shaping winning technical solutions, evaluating feasibility, and ensuring alignment with portfolio strategy. Drive business growth. Work closely with Business Development to identify new opportunities, engage customers and partners, and expand Advanced Space's presence within your technology portfolio.
