WD is seeking a Communications professional to join our Employee Communications team. This role will be responsible for providing corporate-level internal communications support for our global Drivers. This includes managing programs and creating content that engages, informs, inspires, and connects our factory-based employees (DL).Additionally, this role is responsible for internal communications support for the Global Operations organization, working closely with team Leaders.You will report to the Director of Employee Communications in San Jose, CA, U.S., and will collaborate closely with Global Operations Leaders, Executive Communications Leads, and various stakeholders across the organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Drive DL and Regional Internal Communication StrategyCreate and translate corporate-level content (i.e. toolkits, articles, digital signage, newsletters, talking points, etc.) that engages the DLWork with Global Ops leaders to support their team communications and programs (i.e., all-hands decks, talking points, recognition programs, learning & development forums)Managing communication channels and tools that support regional comms, collaborating with various teams across the companyTranslations for internal comms (Thai), and upon request, live translations for sensitive in-person meetings in Thailand.Global Ops support for Executive Comms Lead REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Linguistics, or a related field.At least 2-5 years of internal communications experience, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment.PREFERRED:Fluent in Thai and English (spoken and written), with strong grammar and comprehension skills.Familiarity with terminology related to electronics, mechanical engineering, or data storage technologies.Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong understanding of Thai cultural and business norms.Excellent attention to detail and ability to convey tone, intent, and context accurately.Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.SKILLS:Experience working in a multinational manufacturing company.Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.Ability to adapt language for different audiences (e.g., technicians, engineers, ...
