About The Role:

The Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety programs to prevent workplace injuries and ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations. This role involves conducting risk assessments, leading safety training, and investigating workplace incidents.

This is a back half night shift position; the working hours will be between 4:pm - 2am

You Will:

- Implement all new safety programs and oversees behavioral based safety programs

- Participate on the Safety Solutions Group

- Serve as liaison for all site regulatory agency inquiries (OSHA, EPA, FDA or state equivalent)

- Respond to regulatory inspections, working directly with agency personnel. Partners with the Director WHS  and company Legal to develop responses to investigations, agency requests and proposed citations
