Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. In this role, you will serve as a primary finance partner to assigned operational teams, supporting the development of the annual budget and ongoing tracking to plan. You will provide timely, accurate financial insights that help business leaders drive results.The ideal candidate is skilled in financial modeling, accrual accounting, and brings strong interpersonal skills, sound business judgment, and a proactive, creative approach to problem-solving. You will be responsible for delivering clear and concise financial analyses, monitoring operational and financial performance, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting, and long-range planning for assigned business units.Perform accurate monthly and quarterly variance and trend analyses; present findings to operational leaders.Support and troubleshoot financial system applications; manage scheduled and ad-hoc reporting requests.Partner effectively with cross-functional teams using strong communication and customer-service skills.Support special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed.Build, enhance, and maintain detailed financial models in Excel.Develop and manage key financial, operational, and performance metrics.Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and recommend actions to increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve efficiencies.Support financial system configuration, documentation, testing, implementation, and evolving system requirements for strategic initiativesQUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration3+ years of progressive accounting/finance experienceKnowledge of GAAPComfortable working with financial systems and data setsAbility to demonstrate sound judgement even in ambiguous situationsAbility to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teamsStrong analytical and quantitative skills, including financial modelingAble to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlinesIndependent and team oriented, a “can do” attitude with high attention to detailStrong knowledge of planning and performance processes, including annual budget and monthly forecastProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project).Excellent written and verbal communication skillsOTHER REQUIREMENTS: Experience in the entertainment industry a plus.Experience with Workday and/or Adaptive planning or other ERP systems.COMPENSATION:$85,000 - $95,000About STARZSTARZ (NASDAQ: STRZ) is the leading premium entertainment destination for women and underrepresented audiences, and home to some of the most popular franchises and series on television.
