The Senior Finance Manager, Cost and Inventory will lead our cost accounting and inventory management functions. As a critical leader in our manufacturing operations, you will ensure end-to-end inventory accuracy, robust product costing, and strict compliance with financial regulations. Utilizing Infor LN, you will streamline manufacturing accounting, reconcile production variances, and drive cross functional profitability. Essential Functions Cost Accounting & Margin Analysis Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to cost accounting and inventory valuation. Oversee standard costing, job-costing, and the development of labor and overhead rates across complex manufacturing programs. Perform deep-dive profitability, variance, and margin analysis by product line, contract, and business unit. Ensure all accounting and estimating processes are fully compliant with DCAA, FAR, DFARS, and ITAR regulations as applicable to our industry. Inventory Management & Control Govern inventory accounting for raw materials, Work-in-Progress (WIP), and finished goods. Design and enforce cycle count programs, physical inventory procedures, and ongoing reconciliation. Manage inventory pegging, material traceability, and Customer Furnished Material (CFM) tracking unique to A&D contracts within Infor LN. Monitor excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory, establishing appropriate reserves and mitigation strategies. Infor LN ERP System Leadership Serve as the functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Costing, Warehousing, and Manufacturing modules within Infor LN. Ensure seamless synchronization between Inventory Control, Shop Floor Management, and the General Ledger. Drive continuous system improvements, data governance, and process automation within Infor LN to minimize manual reconciliations. Leadership & Compliance Build, mentor, and lead a team of cost accountants and inventory control specialists. Establish, monitor, and report out on key performance indicators (KPIs) regarding inventory accuracy and cost of goods sold (COGS). Enforce and maintain strict internal controls, ensuring 100% SOX compliance and smooth audit support. Perform other duties as required.
