Sr. Pharmacy Operations Manager

Vendor Strategy & Relationship Management Own the pharmacy vendor portfolio: primary, backup, regional, and specialty partners across both compounded and branded tiers Design and maintain vendor scorecards; lead business reviews (QBRs) against SLAs for speed, accuracy, fill rate, and cost Serve as the lead operator on pharmacy RFPs, contract renewals, and onboarding of new partners Maintain contractual SLA documentation; flag compliance gaps and drive remediation with vendors Build and own the vendor escalation playbook for supply disruptions, quality events, and service failures 2. Pharmacy Cost & Margin Build and maintain a pharmacy cost model: acquisition cost by drug, formulation, strength, and vendor; track actuals vs. budget monthly Lead pricing benchmarking across compounded and branded partners; surface optimization opportunities to leadership Identify and model COGS levers: vendor-mix shifts, volume-tiered pricing, formulation substitutions, and compounding cost inputs Partner with growth/finance on the pharmacy P&L; be the ops counterpart in monthly close reviews 3. Clinical & Product Partnership Collaborate with clinical ops on formulary updates, titration protocol changes, and how they ripple into pharmacy workflows Own the operational side of the order-to-ship pipeline; partner with product and engineering on pharmacy integration health Bring the vendor and ops perspective into the pharmacy roadmap; flag where tech gaps create manual work or member risk 4. Member Shipment Experience Own the end-to-end member experience for medication/prescription shipment SLA: define what we promise, measure adherence, and lead improvement initiatives Partner with MX to build proactive shipment communication triggers (delay alerts, exception workflows) that reduce inbound contacts Design and maintain the lost/delayed shipment playbook; own resolution workflows with vendors and MX Drive data integration between pharmacy partners and internal systems to enable self-serve shipment tracking for members 5. Compliance & Quality Operations Maintain working knowledge of 503A vs. 503B regulatory distinctions as they apply to our compounded network Track third-party testing requirements (potency, sterility, endotoxins) across compounded partners; ensure testing cadence is met Own the operational side of pharmacy recall and product withdrawal workflows Su...
