ABOUT THE ROLE:

We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to build the paved road for product teams and drive adoption at scale. You'll design and operate the developer platform that powers our services, with a focus on two major pillars: rolling out and standardizing Istio service mesh across the fleet, and building AI-native platform tooling: from MCP-backed APIs to golden paths for AI agent deployment. We use Backstage for service provisioning and templating, but our platform investment is moving toward AI-first tooling that serves both engineers and agentic systems as first-class users.

YOU WILL:

- Build and scale agent golden paths: Evolve our agentic infrastructure from experiments to standard architecture. Treat AI agents as first-class platform users: defining deployment standards, and building the guardrails that let teams ship agents safely and consistently.

- Drive service mesh adoption: Lead the rollout and standardization of Istio across the fleet: covering mTLS...
