The role partners with other IT teams to support the availability, performance, and security of corporate IT systems and services; participates in migrations, upgrades, integrations, and deployments; and provides technical expertise and operational support to engineers and stakeholders.   Job location: Black Duck Software, Bangalore (Near Dairy Circle, Opp to Christ University) Work mode : Hybrid (Minimum 3 Days Work from office in a week) Experience: 5 - 8 Years Essential Functions/Responsibilities Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure platforms including physical servers, virtualization, storage, backup, and cloud-hosted services. Support the lifecycle management of server hardware and infrastructure platforms, including deployment, upgrades, patching, capacity planning, and decommissioning activities. Administer and optimize virtualization platforms including VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V, OpenStack, KVM, or equivalent technologies. Manage and support enterprise storage solutions including SAN, NAS, replication, performance optimization, and capacity management. Implement and support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity and data protection objectives are met. Administer and support Windows and Linux server environments, including system hardening, patching, automation, performance tuning, and operational support. Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, availability, and reliability while identifying opportunities for operational improvements. Develop and maintain automation and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Python, or similar tools. Participate in infrastructure projects including platform deployments, migrations, upgrades, modernization initiatives, and cloud adoption efforts. Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams while contributing to technical documentation, standards, and best practices. Participation in a rotating on-call schedule to support critical network operations outside of business hours. Other tasks and activities as assigned.
