Staff Revenue Accountant

This role requires regular alignment with the U.S. Eastern business day and is primarily a night-shift position based in India (generally 6:30 PM–3:30 AM IST during U.S. daylight saving time and 7:30 PM–4:30 AM IST during standard time). Flexibility during quarter-end and year-end close periods is expected.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting close process for assigned areas

- Prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis for revenue and AR related accounts

- Manage full accounts receivable processes for committed customers, including invoice preparation, collections, maintaining customer billing portals, and reserve recommendations

- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, taxation, and completion of invoicing prerequisites (i.e. procuring of purchase orders, completion of supplier registration forms)

- Manage the order to cash process, reviewing contracts, syncing opportunities from SalesForce to Netsuite, and setting up sales orders in our accounting system to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance

- Support business processes by partnering with other departments, including but not limited to the FP&A, Billing, Analytics, Revenue Operations, Support, and Sales

- Assist with preparation for the annual financial statement audit
