As a Ridgeline Staff Software Engineer on our Portfolio Accounting team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to build an industry-defining, fast, scalable accounting engine with full asset class support and global market coverage. The impact you will make: Lead your team in adopting AI-assisted engineering practices by driving experiments that measurably improve productivity, quality, and outcomes while sharing learnings with adjacent teams Evaluate AI tooling critically, identifying risks such as hallucination and security exposure, and establish guardrails that enable responsible adoption Contribute accounting domain knowledge, design skills, and technical expertise to a cross-functional team Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design reviews to shipping production code Lead the design and evolution of cloud-native services on AWS, soliciting broad feedback and building team consensus around key architectural decisions Represent the team’s systems in cross-functional technical discussions and contribute to Ridgeline’s Architecture Advice Process Build developer automation that enables scalable, high-quality applications relied upon by asset managers Coach and mentor engineers responsible for delivering secure, high-performing enterprise applications Participate in engineering hiring and talent-building initiatives Think creatively, own complex problems, seek pragmatic solutions, and communicate clearly along the way Drive engineering best practices that ensure maintainability, obse...
