This role ensures that all systems operate efficiently and comply with safety and regulatory standards. The technician will work closely with other teams to support facility operations and minimize downtime.Staff Technician, Facilities Maintenance – 1st Shift (Onsite).What You Will DoElectrical SystemsInstall, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, control panels, and motors.Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and implement corrective measures.Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.HVAC SystemsPerform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation units.Inspect and replace filters, belts, and other components to maintain optimal performance.Troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions and ensure proper operation.Fire Protection SystemsTest, inspect, and maintain fire detection and suppression systems, such as alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers.Ensure systems meet local and national fire safety regulations.Respond to system failures and perform necessary repairs or replacements.General MaintenanceMaintain records of work performed, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruptions.Stay updated on new technologies and regulatory requirements relevant to industrial systems.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experienceProven experience in industrial electrical systems, HVAC maintenance, and fir...
