Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to drive quality improvement with suppliers, lead coaching initiatives, and ensure compliance with company standards. This role requires a proactive approach to mentoring suppliers, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities: Lead supplier coaching programs to enhance quality processes, defect prevention, and performance optimization. Develop and implement training for suppliers on quality control methodologies, 8D problem-solving, and root cause analysis. Provide hands-on coaching to suppliers on material and component specifications, ensuring adherence to requirements. Act as a mentor and consultant, guiding suppliers through process improvements and compliance initiatives. Work with suppliers to establish corrective and preventive action plans, ensuring sustainable quality improvements. Conduct supplier audits and follow-up coaching to ensure long-term success in meeting company standards. Implement supplier development roadmaps, tracking progress toward zero defects and quality excellence. Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing to identify, approve, and onboard new suppliers with strong quality capabilities. Support supplier innovation and improvement projects that drive cost efficiency and process optimization. Assist with new product launches and material/component qualifications, ensuring supplier readiness. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, holding suppliers accountable for quality performance and growth.
