With manufacturing units in 12 countries and present in more than 135 countries, WEG has more than 40,000 employees worldwide.JOB DESCRIPTION Position Summary: The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading all Purchasing, Materials Management, Logistics, Warehouse and Inventory Control activities for Marathon Electric – Wausau.This position is responsible for ensuring material availability, inventory optimization, supplier performance, warehouse operations, logistics execution, production planning alignment, and continuous improvement of supply chain processes.The role requires a strong leader capable of developing teams, implementing KPI-driven management systems, driving accountability, and supporting aggressive production growth plans.The successful candidate will lead cross-functional collaboration between Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Sales, Sourcing, and Operations to ensure world-class supply chain performance.Major Responsibilities:Strategic LeadershipLead and develop Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics, Inventory Control, and Scheduling teams.Build a high-performance, KPI-driven culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.Develop succession plans and talent development roadmaps.Drive employee engagement and leadership development within the organization.Establish clear performance expectations and accountability systems.Purchasing & Supplier ManagementLead direct and indirect purchasing activities.Develop sourcing strategies supporting cost, quality, delivery, and inventory objectives.Manage supplier performance scorecards and supplier development programs.Lead supplier recovery actions when delivery or quality issues occur.Support supplier negotiations, contracts, and long-term supply agreements.Drive annual cost reduction and productivity initiatives.Materials & Production PlanningEnsure material availability to support production schedules.Lead MRP execution and planning activities.Drive inventory optimization initiatives.Manage inventory turns, safety stock strategies, and inventory accuracy.Partner with Operations to support production ramp-up requirements.Lead shortage management and critical material escalation processes.Warehouse & LogisticsManage warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, material handling, shipping, and storage.Drive improvements in...
