A well-coordinated and informed marketing team is essential to ensure that customers across many countries and industries are aware of our latest solutions and have access to high-quality training and educational resources.

As a Technical Marketing Program Manager for the Industrial product line, you will translate industry research, product roadmaps, and customer insights into strategic marketing plans that position our products as integrated solutions to meet customer needs. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders in Research & Development, Sales & Customer Service, and other divisions to ensure that all marketing collateral and activities are consistent, accurate, and addressing the diverse needs of our customers.

As a Technical Marketing Program Manager, a typical day might include the following:

Own technical marketing programs for the industrial relay portfolio (SEL-700 and SEL-800 series) from planning through execution and post-launch optimization

Meeting with stakeholders and leaders across divisions to discuss product roadmaps, customer perspectives, industry news, and strategic marketing plans

Learning about SEL technologies, major competitors, and industry trends through independent research and close collaboration with subject matter experts and marketing research analysts

Developing marketing program plans, project proposals, and briefs that distill key technical information, business intelligence, and strategic objectives into actionable guidance for all related marketing activities and collateral

Leading the development of marketing content and promotional activities through close collaboration with creative professionals and marketing operations teams

Reviewing collateral for technical accuracy and evaluating the performance of marketing campaigns

Presenting marketing plans and results for the designated program area to various stakeholders, including executive leadership

Track program performance and report on KPIs including pipeline influence, campaign engagement, content usage, and win/loss trends

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Marketing, or related field.

2+ years in technical marketing, product marketing, program management, or application engineering in power systems, protection, automation, or grid technology.

Strong understanding of protection principles (overcurrent, differential, feeder protection, settings concepts, and system coordination fundamentals).
