Technical Sales Specialist – Aftermarket
The Opportunity
This is the opportunity to operate as the "mini-GM" of a portfolio of major operating mine sites. Take total ownership of driving growth across large-scale wet mineral processing plants with our premium Slurryflex, Abrasiguard, and Defender products.
At Beaver, we’ve built the end-to-end machine to maximise your ability to win, backed by high-performance teams – from Customer Operations, to Technical Support, and Manufacturing – all focused on helping you perform at your best. This role is for someone who wants real autonomy and the opportunity to get recognised and rewarded for the results you deliver (with no glass ceilings).
The Role
This is a senior sales role where you will own a portfolio of 8–15 large operating mine sites in a key region. You will run this territory like your own business, maximizing sales performance and building deep, strategic relationships at every level.
What you’ll own:
"Land & Expand" Strategy: Identify and penetrate large-scale wet mineral processing plants where high-volume slurry transfer presents maximum opportunity.
Entrepreneurial Territory Ownership: Own the portfolio like your own business, managing everything from site-level troubleshooting to head office influence.
Technical Problem Solving: Diagnose over 80% of on-site slurry piping system issues and lead technical conversations with Reliability Engineers and Superintendents.
Upgrade With SlurryIQ: Move from "break-fix" replacement sales to re-optimising whole lines end-to-end using our SlurryIQ technology.
Specification Development: Engage head office teams to "open" master specifications and provide evidence to ensure Beaver is the preferred technical standard.
Competitor Displacement: Actively hunt for incumbent weaknesses and use technical audits to prove Beaver’s superior life-cycle value.
High Site Presence: Maintain disciplined coverage with key stakeholders on-site (requires at least 25–30% travel).
