Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.Job Responsibilities:Position SummaryThe Laser Technician programs, develops, modifies and maintains Trumpf 8030 L60 equipment and all tooling fixtures.  The individual will be responsible for setting-up, troubleshooting, and programming Trumpf 8030 L60 Laser Cells.Minimum Job RequirementsGrade 12 Education or GED Minimum 1 year laser cutting experience as Assistant, or LeaderCompetition of 1 or more of the following:-    Industrial Laser Safety Officer (LSO) Training – Certified-    TruCell 8030 Advanced Operators Course – Certificate-    TruLaser Cell 8030 Technology Training – CertificateJob ResponsibilitiesSalary: Starting at $38.66 per hour.Immediate, open position.Set-up Trumpf Laser Cutting Equipment.Perform prescribed maintenance as per TPM program on Trumpf laser cells to ensure acceptable cutting conditions and start-up requirements.Monitor quality of cutting process.Responsible for implementing and maintaining QMS documentation of Cutting and Camera Set-ups.Teaching cutting cells. (Trumpf 5 axis CNC).Able to troubleshoot Trumpf 8030 L60 Systems.Perform maintenance on all laser cutting tools.When filling in for production technician, utilizes ANDON when countering a quality issue or problem that hinders the completion of standardized work during cycle time. Respond to ANDON calls in a timely manner to address and diagnose issues. Coordinate containment of any suspect parts.Plan and execute in-house projects and program launches.Perform all duties in an environmentally responsible manner in accordance with the Karmax Environmental Policy Statement—3 P’s.
