Join our team as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor and make a meaningful difference every day in the lives of individuals working toward recovery. In this role, you’ll provide compassionate, client-centered care in a structured inpatient environment while working alongside a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health professionals. You’ll have the opportunity to facilitate individual, group, and family sessions, support treatment planning, and help clients take meaningful steps toward long-term recovery. What You’ll Do Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs. Provide individual, group, and family counseling in a supportive inpatient setting. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the multidisciplinary treatment team. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches based on individual needs. Complete timely and accurate documentation within the Electronic Clinical Record (ECR). Participate in Level of Care Assessments and support appropriate treatment recommendations. Assist with utilization review, discharge planning, and coordination of aftercare services. Collaborate with clinical, medical, and support staff to promote positive client outcomes. Help maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for clients and staff. Respond appropriately to behavioral or clinical crises and follow established safety protocols. Contribute to curriculum development, clinical training, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
