If you're dedicated, dependable and driven to deliver exceptional guest service, this is a place for you! Male Vocalists- Three Kings JourneyApplicants must apply online and attend an in-person audition on:Sunday, August 16th 2pmCheck in at 2:00pm Busch Gardens Tampa Bay HR Lobby3605 E Bougainvillea Ave, Tampa, FL 33612Please prepare 16 bars of two contrasting traditional Christmas selectionsPlease have back up tracksWhat you get to do:Perform 4-5 shows per evening as a male vocalist in Christmastown ShowsEnthusiastically represent the park by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy, and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.Perform in stage shows, meet-and-greets, and special events as assignedOpenly accepts performance feedback and critique and adapts accordingly.Execute pre and post show backstage duties as outlined in the daily scheduleEnsure adherence to safety and procedural directions that accompany this positionConsistently and expertly executes stage direction and show content as directed by leadershipMaintains a positive, flexible and kind attitudePositively interacts with guests, employees, and othersPerform other duties as assignedWhat it takes to succeed:Perform various vocal selections from the Three Kings Journey ShowAbility to memorize musical selections and stage blockingEvening availabilityAbility to sight read sheet musicPersonable and animated with a fun, outgoing personalityAbility to openly accept performance feedback/critiques and adapt accordinglyAbility to work in indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions and temperature extremes while performing directed choreography, vocal selections and stagingDemonstrated strong vocal skillsAt least 18 years oldHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to lift, push and pull up to 50 poundsAvailability to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts, as well as after hour rehearsalsAbility to maintain assigned character integrityBe able to positively interact with guests and co-workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or language, and individuals with special needs.Strong verbal communication skills.Stand, walk for prolonged periods of time.Additional requirements include script memorization and role playingWhat else is important:Be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if neededPerform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)Be ...
