They will monitor gas volumes and evaluate and reduce pipeline imbalances, analyze data, and monitor and reconcile imbalances. Customer focus, communication and the ability to process improve are keys to success!Responsibilities/Expectations:Troubleshoots customer issues as they arise; Serves as the first point of contact with customers for scheduling related issuesSupervises gas volumes and evaluates and reduces pipeline imbalances for shippers and operators; Communicates with Pipeline Control on confirmation and imbalance management as neededTracks and evaluates pipeline maintenance schedules and communicates proactively with customers to ensure they are well advisedManages and maintains relationships with pipeline and scheduling representatives to ensure operational integrityCollaborates with peer organizations regarding customer imbalances and strategies to resolve themEvaluates special customer requests (e.g., Post and Retro cycle nominations) to protect company interestsPerforms customer invoicing and accounting close activitiesOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: High School Diploma /GED and minimum five (5) years' experience in marketing or commercialPreferred: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related fieldShift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:Able to work after hours as the need arisesOther Requirements:Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Excel, and PC skillsUnderstanding of accounting principles and procedures for gas accountingStrong problem solving skills and analytical approach#LI-CT1Why Houston? Big career opportunities in one of the world’s energy capitals, endless food spots and a diverse vibe—all without paying NYC or LA prices.
