Come join us and make a meaningful impact on the community you serve.   ​​​​   About the Job The Radiology Veterinary Assistant will work directly under the supervision of our board-certified radiologist, providing patient support during advanced imaging procedures and assisting with the clerical and administrative tasks necessary to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care. This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a specialist while contributing to multiple departments throughout the hospital. How You'll Make a Difference Assist the board-certified radiologist during advanced imaging procedures, including ultrasound, CT, and other diagnostic imaging services Safely restrain patients for imaging studies while ensuring patient comfort and minimizing stress Monitor and assist with patients undergoing sedation or anesthesia for imaging procedures Prepare patients and imaging areas prior to procedures Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, treatment sheets, and diagnostic documentation Assist with data entry, report management, and other clerical duties related to the radiology service Facilitate communication between doctors, technicians, and client service teams to support seamless patient care Ensure radiology equipment and workspaces remain clean, organized, and stocked Provide compassionate care and attention to patients throughout their diagnostic workup Support other hospital departments during slower periods as needed What You Will Bring 2+ years of experience working as a Veterinary Assistant Strong patient handling and restraint skills with a focus on fear-free, compassionate care Experience working with sedated and anesthetized patients preferred Understanding of basic veterinary anatomy, physiology, and patient monitoring Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medi...
