Sounds great, what will I be doing? 🤔 As our VP of Engineering you'll define the technical strategy and lead the engineering teams behind two of GWI's core products: our SaaS platform and our Agentic Infrastructure (API/MCP). Reporting into the CTO and working closely with the VP Product, Director Data Engineering, Director of DevOps, and Director of InfoSec, you'll lead 6 agile engineering teams and partner with product management to keep everything aligned with our wider business and product strategy.As part of our Senior Leadership Team, you'll bring strategic leadership and direction to the business. A few things you'll be responsible for:👉 Own the engineering roadmap and budget across our SaaS platform and Agentic Infrastructure (API/MCP), and the 6 agile teams that build, operate, and evolve them. 👉 Lead and develop your directors and engineering managers, building a collaborative, high-performing culture across the function. 👉 Drive planning and execution across teams, keeping engineering aligned with our business and product strategy. 👉 Set technical direction, making the architecture and technology calls that improve scalability, reliability, and performance. 👉 Champion continuous improvement — especially in AI and agentic systems — to push what the platform can do. 👉 Own platform stability, anticipating technical risk and leading resolution during critical incidents. 👉 Partner with stakeholders, attract top engineering talent, and lead communities of interest in software engineering and AI-native development.It's also fun; shaking things up is what working for GWI is all about.
