It is how we work, consistently, be it towards the company, our colleagues or our customers.Job DescriptionJob ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Head of FXMM, Funding Operations and Overseas Branch Support, you will play a key leadership role in driving operational excellence, risk management and strategic initiatives across Global Markets Operations.Key responsibilities include:Lead and develop a team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.Oversee operational activities across Global Markets products, including Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Funding and other treasury-related businesses.Maintain a robust risk and control framework, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Partner with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Compliance, Technology and other stakeholders to support business growth, new initiatives and operational readiness.Drive transformation initiatives through process optimisation, automation, digitalisation and technology adoption.Manage operational, settlement and liquidity-related risks through proactive monitoring, escalation and resolution of issues.Lead strategic projects, including system implementations, process enhancements and regulatory change initiatives.Provide leadership during incident management, business continuity events and crisis situations.Support talent development, succession planning and the achievement of departmental objectives.Job RequirementsDegree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Global Markets or Treasury Operations within a financial institution.Strong domain knowledge of Foreign Exchange and Money Market products, with broader exposure to funding, treasury operations, derivatives and/or fixed income products.Proven leadership and people management experience, including coaching and developing high-performing teams.Strong understanding of operational risk, settlement risk, liquidity management and regulatory requirements relevant to Global Markets Operations.Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and work effectively across business and support functions.Experience leading transformation, process improvement, automation or change management initiatives....
