Job Description
Position Purpose
The Workday Reporting Specialist & Service Delivery Data Analyst role exists to provide trusted, accessible, and actionable HR and service delivery data that enables informed decision-making across The Salvation Army in Canada. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining reporting, analytics, data governance, and data quality processes across Workday, ServiceNow, and other HR systems to ensure data integrity and reporting system health.
By translating workforce and service delivery data into meaningful insights, the role supports operational effectiveness, workforce planning, continuous improvement, and executive reporting. It contributes to The Salvation Army’s mission by enabling leaders to make evidence-based decisions, improving service delivery, and ensuring HR operations are supported by accurate and reliable data.
This is a remote, fixed-term position and is open to candidates all across Canada.
Key Accountabilities

Develop and implement HR reporting governance, standards, and best practices to ensure consistent, reliable, and compliant reporting across HR systems.

Manage the ServiceNow reporting request queue, delivering Workday reports, data extracts, and analyses through requirements gathering, testing, stakeholder approval, and release processes.

Lead enterprise-wide HR data audit and data quality initiatives that strengthen data accuracy, integrity, and trust in workforce reporting.

Establish and maintain governance processes and controls that support sustainable HR data integrity, accuracy, and system health.

Design and enhance manager and HR dashboards, hubs, and reporting solutions that improve data accessibility, self-service capabilities, and decision-making.

Create and maintain complex Workday reports and dashboards, including advanced, matrix, composite, worksheet, and trending reports that meet evolving business needs.

Analyze workforce and service delivery data to identify trends, risks, discrepancies, and opportunities that drive operational improvement and informed decision-making.
