Anthropic is updating Claude Code Projects to work more like a shared workspace than a single chat thread. In its announcement, the company said users can give one instruction and Claude can break the work into parts, run those parts in parallel, review the results and combine them.

Anthropic says each thread starts with the project's files, repositories, instructions and memory, while the project's Library keeps uploaded files and artifacts Claude creates.
