Meta said the alerts are part of its Instagram parental-supervision tools. Parents who use the feature can already see the general topics their teen discussed with Meta AI over the prior seven days, and Meta said its Limited Content setting now applies to Meta AI.
The company first said in February that it was building parental notifications for teens' AI chats, and in April it added more parental insight into the kinds of topics teens were asking Meta AI about.
