Processes accounts payable and receivable transactions. Processes checks and reports. Generates and edits vendors in computer systems to facilitate tax records. Acts as liaison to vendors and county employees by responding to inquiries regarding accounts payable and accounts receivable. Maintains current signature authority files. SCHEDULE: This position operates on a hybrid schedule primarily working from home. It is a four-day work week, Monday through Thursday. Typically working 40 hours a week. COMPENSATION: Anticipated hiring salary: $25-$27.78 USD Hourly Compensation will be determined based on education, experience and skills. For more information, click here for our Total Rewards summary. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Generates new vendors in system and edits existing vendor information for tax accuracy. Maintains signature authority files. Prompts other departments to update signature authorities when necessary. Investigates and resolves accounting discrepancies. Compiles year-end accruals. Oversees account transactions by processing accounts payable activities. Maintains proper payment schedules. Ensures invoice accuracy, reviews payment batches, and processes accounts payable checks. Assists vendors and county employees with accounts payable inquiries. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
