About the role: We are on a mission to build a world-class team that drives innovation, growth, and operational excellence. As we scale rapidly, we are looking for an Automotive Inspection Manager to lead our vehicle inspection department within our reconditioning facility. This role focuses on overseeing vehicle inspections, maintaining quality standards, and managing a team of inspectors, apprentices, and technicians to ensure vehicles are retail-ready and completed efficiently. Evening availability is required. What you’ll do: Lead and oversee the daily operations of the vehicle inspection department Manage a team of inspectors, apprentices, and technicians while promoting accountability, performance, and productivity Ensure all vehicles meet Clutch’s quality and safety standards prior to retail readiness Oversee vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repair recommendations, and quality control processes Monitor production timelines and ensure vehicles are completed efficiently and on schedule Establish and monitor department KPIs and production metrics Partner with leadership to improve workflows, operational efficiency, and inspection processes Provide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing training to team members Build a high-performance culture rooted in collaboration, communication, and ownership Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management within the department Collaborate cross-functionally with production, logistics, and operations teams to support business demands Ensure inspection documentation and reporting is completed accurately and consistently Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment Manage department resources, tooling, and equipment maintenance What we’re looking for: Minimum 5–7 years of automotive experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role Strong understanding of vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repair processes, and automotive quality standards Previous experience man...
