Our Bartenders take pride in their food, wine and spirit knowledge. They build relationships with their guests and are often asked for by name. They display natural showmanship, have great communication skills and an eye for detail. A Bartender receives beverage orders and makes beverages in a timely and efficient manner maintaining all O&B standards. They also communicate beverage descriptions and modifications with team members to ensure guests receive their requested beverage. The day to day:Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of serviceKnowledgeable of all food and beverage items in order to make recommendationsPromptly receive drink orders and pour all beverages according to O&B standardsPresent beverages in a clear and organized manner at the service bar pick up areaCommunicate beverage descriptions, specials and information to guests and team membersSetup and take apart bar area, dishwasher and cappuccino machineStock and maintain all bar products including mis en placeCheck and maintain beer keg and liquor levelsCount and take inventory of all beverages and supplies and assist manager with inventory orderingBe aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergiesOther duties as assigned or required At least 2 years bartending experience in a similar environmentExperience with cocktail batching an asset Impeccable wine, beer and classic cocktail knowledgePassion for food, beverage and providing excellent customer serviceAbility to multi-task and be a strong lounge serverStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to stand for long periods of time and able to lift and move beer kegs, liquor and wine boxesAvailable weekends, evenings, and holidays as neededThis position requires flexibility and availabilities for all the events taking place at Rogers Place and day/ night shifts.Legally eligible to work in Canada This is a current vacancyHourly Wage $15 /hr + gratuitiesAI Disclosure To ensure a fair and efficient recruitment process, some aspects of candidate screening may be conducted using AI software.
