This approach allows for a more comprehensive and rewarding healthcare experience for our students.As a Behavioral Health provider at SHC, you will provide integrated behavioral healthcare, risk and safety assessments, and support for patients in need of and or seeking out behavioral health services. The vision of SHC is to facilitate access to comprehensive preventive, primary, and mental healthcare for Multnomah County school-age youth to keep them healthy and ready to learn. The Program operates 9 SHCs in coordination with five school districts: David Douglas, Parkrose, Centennial, Reynolds, and Portland Public Schools, and the Behavior Health Division’s School Based Mental Health program.This is a permanent .8 FTE position (40 hrs/wk and school winter, spring, and summer breaks off) with Student Health Centers (SHC) providing a patient facing BH clinical practice at two SHCS.
