Business Development Intern

Working closely with the Client & Market Development team, you’ll contribute to strengthening our market presence and client relationships.Your tasks include:Assisting in the preparation and updating of pitch documents and client presentationsConducting in-depth market and competitive research to support strategic initiativesSupporting the organisation of client meetings and eventsHelping improve our visibility and market positioningMaintaining client-related documents including CVs, capability statements and track recordsCollaborating with team members, lawyers and partners to collect input for targeted business development initiativesAssisting in the coordination of business development activitiesThis internship is an excellent opportunity to experience how business development operates within the legal sector.  You are a bachelor’s or master’s student (preferably in Business Administration, International Relations, Law, Marketing or a related field)Excellent organization and communication skillsHelpful and positive attitudeFluency in English, French and proficiency in DutchStrong computer skills, including web-based research, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel, as well the ability to learn new systems quicklyAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressureFlexible and ability to work as part of a teamReliable and consistentAffinity with business development, marketing and commercial processesThe internship is onsite, must last at least 6 months, is unpaid, and is part of your academic curriculum.  How to applyPlease upload your CV and motivation letter, clearly indicating the proposed internship period, your preferred start and end dates, and the days and hours you would be available to work. Equal opportunitiesAt Clifford Chance we understand that our true asset is our people.
