Engineering Intern - DevOps
Programme start date: 9 November 2026Our Engineering Internship has been crafted to simulate our Engineering Graduate Programme so that you can understand what a career in Engineering at LSEG would really be like. To be eligible, you must be a penultimate- or final-year students graduating due to complete your degree between summer 2027 to summer 2028 and studying in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).During your time with us you will have the opportunity to explore potential career paths by working within our LSEG Markets Engineering as an Engineering Intern focusing on DevOps Engineer field.We have opportunities for students to join our Colombo – Malabe hub We offer a wide range DevOps roles which will allow you to explore one of the following technologies: UNIX/Linux, SQL, and RDBMSScripting knowledge Python, Bash or PerlObject-oriented programming language (e.g., Java)Main responsibilities during your 6-month internshipHelp configure DevOps tools (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) for the team and monitor the DevOps infrastructure.Involve in scripting and automate mundane tasks.Plan and implement automated test suites.Evaluate various DevOps tools.Document internal processes.We will also support you in discovering more about the areas of LSEG by connecting you with the relevant departments so that you can learn more about them. All the while you will be applying your new skills to real world business challenges, through project-based learning. People who can collaborate with others, using their communication skills in the process.
