Programme start date: 9 November 2026Our Engineering Internship has been crafted to simulate our Engineering Graduate Programme so that you can understand what a career in Engineering at LSEG would really be like.  To be eligible, you must be a penultimate- or final-year students graduating due to complete your degree between summer 2027 to summer 2028 and studying in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).During your time with us you will have the opportunity to explore potential career paths by working within our LSEG Markets Engineering as an Engineering Intern focusing on Software Engineer field.We have opportunities for students to join our Colombo – Malabe hub as an Engineering Intern.Main responsibilities during your 6-month internshipContribute as a C++ or Java engineer in an agile scrum team.Work towards understanding software modules and subsystems from design to quality perspectivesWith support from senior engineers with translate story-level requirements into tasks and implement them in C++ or Java code.With supervision apply code changes with integrity and standard methodologies.Gain experience in software quality through unit, component, and end-to-end testing.We will also support you in discovering more about the areas of LSEG by connecting you with the relevant departments so that you can learn more about them.
