Shifts: Various Shifts Between 6:00am - 7:30pm, Monday-Sunday including Two Weekends on, One Off & Statutory Holidays

Position Summary
This position supports safe, efficient, and patient-centered food service operations in a healthcare environment. Responsibilities include food preparation and portioning, patient tray assembly and delivery, warewashing, sanitation, food cart distribution, and maintaining clean and organized work areas. The Food Services Associate follows established food safety, infection prevention and control, and workplace health and safety procedures to ensure quality meal service and contribute to the well-being of patients and residents.
Duties
- Prepare and portion menu items such as sandwiches, salads, desserts, entrées, soups, vegetables, and nourishments according to production requirements and standardized recipes.
- Assemble patient meal trays accurately according to tray tickets, diet orders, textures, consistencies, and portioning requirements.
- Assemble and deliver bulk food and supply items to patient care units.
- Complete meal trays by adding final items such as beverages, desserts, and snacks as required.
- Record food temperatures and complete required food safety documentation.
- Deliver meal trays to patients while ensuring accurate patient identification and adherence to infection prevention and control practices.
- Set up, stock, replenish, clean, and sanitize food service stations, equipment, utensils, and work areas.
