For the latest news, visit news.samsung.com/us.Role and ResponsibilitiesThis position regularly works with Senior Leadership across multiple SEA Functional areas including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Logistics and will provide Executive level briefing and reports on a weekly basis.  The Supply Chain Manager will also lead discussions with Senior Leadership at external Customers and with SEC Global Representatives in Suwon, Korea for both Operations and Innovation Projects.  This position may require travel as required (up to 10%).Own Subsidiary Level Supply Forecasts for a specific range of DA Product CategoriesEnsure Financial Forecast achievement by the SubsidiaryProvide early warning and mitigation strategies for SEA and Channel Inventory risksGuide multiple teams to mitigate internal and customer supply chain and financial risksDefine and Execute Supply Chain Projects and Initiatives on behalf of the Supply Chain TeamSkills and QualificationsPosition ObjectiveOptimize SEA Inventory across Warehouses and Storage Locations to maximize sales while minimizing inventory risks and costs utilizing KPI and Real-Time orders and forecasts including Channel Sell-OutAchieve Financial Forecast Targets by managing Inventory Fulfillment and Delivery for Revenue RecognitionSupply Chain Lead for DA Product Category and liaison with External and Internal Stakeholders for initiatives, exception management, and to mitigate risksManage a Team of SCM PSI Planners to achieve goals aboveMinimum Qualifications:7-10 years’ experience in fields such as Supply Chain Management, Forecasting, InnovationBachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus3-5 years Managing People and TeamsExperience in leading indirect cross functional resources in a matrix organizationAbility to communicate confidently and effectively with all levels of the organization including weekly Executive level engagement across multiple functions and teamsExperience leveraging market and industry insights to execute strategyStrong project management, analytical and interpersonal skills requiredBilingual Korean and English helpful for communications with Global Factories and OfficesPreferred Qualifications:Forecast Management experience critical with str...
