GBS Senior Quality Analyst I (Data Team)

Innovation, creativity, and collaboration drive the company to offer exceptional services to clients.About the role:A skilled quality analyst contributes to the testing and quality engineering initiatives across the GBS & Data Lake platforms. You will apply quality and process standards, support planning and executing effective test approaches that enable timely, high‑quality delivery of software and data products. This position uses solid QA and testing knowledge across both legacy and new product platforms and collaborates closely with more senior analysts to improve testing practices and overall quality outcomes.Responsibilities:Develop and execute testing for diverse projects to successfully and consistently deliver high-quality software products and services on time, on budget, and to specificationIdentify opportunities to apply automation or other tools to improve the effectiveness or efficiency of testingWork with project managers, technical leads, and subject matter experts to plan and execute functional and system tests.Construct, execute, and document test plans and test cases/scripts including regression, integration, certification, and load testing as appropriate in a manner consistent with team standardsSuggest process improvements that enable efficient delivery and maintenance.Report issues and results, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate.Ensure that testing addresses requirements as agreed with other stakeholders.Participate in project reviews, ensuring review criteria are defined, and implement procedures for ensuring quality control of project deliverables.Cooperate in the enhancement of the methodologies employed for test planning and execution, defect tracking, and metric and status reporting.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices.Participate as needed in initiatives to identify and implement tools and utilities that enhance testing capabilities and product quality.Maintain industry awareness by evaluating emerging trends/technology.Requirements:4+ years of Quality Analyst experienceBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or equivalent requiredStrong knowledge of QA methodologiesStrong knowledge of software development processes and process improvementHands-on expertise in both manual testing on medium-large scale projectsStrong experience of constructing and executing test plansStrong attention to detailExcellent written & communication skillsAbility to identify and implement continuous improvement practicesStrong SQL and ETL/Data Pipeline testing experienceStrong API testing experienceExperience with Selenium, PyTest, TestNG, or equivalent automation tools.Exposure to Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)Work in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization.
