The Lab Manager will manage operations ofthe lab's cavity ringdown spectrometers and provide assistance to student research assistants and visiting researchers alike.Responsibilities include instrument operation, scheduling and maintenance; lab purchasing and related paperwork; sample preparation; data and metadata analysis, quality control, and archival; training and oversightof student research assistants and other lab personnel; and ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety guidelines.This position is a full-time, 12-month position 100% research funded and is for one year with the possibility of renewal, based on satisfactory work performance and dependent upon funding.Qualifications:Education and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in geosciences, environmental science, or other STEM field strongly preferred with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.Prior experience in climate, paleoclimate, geology, and/or oceanographic research preferred.Experience operating analytical instrumentation is pref...
