Job DescriptionTake ownership of day-to-day accounting and financial matters, providing guidance and support to junior team members as needed.Lead the execution of month-end and quarter-end closing processes, ensuring timely creation, documentation, and posting of journal entries with quality control.Prepare and review monthly attestation packages and lead account reconciliation efforts, ensuring full accuracy and completeness.Lead execution of monthly statutory balance sheet and P&L processes, ensuring adherence to timelines and accuracy standards.Provide support to the team/business for the overall day-to-day accounting and financial matters.Assist with the month-end and quarter-end closing process, including the creation, documentation and posting of journal entries to the general ledger.Coordinate the production and delivery of monthly financial analytical reporting packages to support various teams within the enterprise.Respond to internal/external auditor’s queries and provide support and resolution to queries.Lead responses to internal and external auditor queries and manage the resolution process, ensuring timely escalation to management when needed.Oversee transfer pricing postings and the settlement process, ensuring compliance and identifying process improvements.Perform or review reconciliations of general ledger balances and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis.Lead and mentor team members on reconciliation procedures, resolving complex discrepancies and providing training on best practices.Drive improvement of the control environment by leading the creation and periodic refresh of financial reporting process documentation.Coordinate support to Legal Entity Reporting teams and manage cross-functional initiatives.Mentor team members on accounting and reporting requirements and share knowledge best practicesSupport the Legal Entity Reporting teams as needed.Assist with daily Ad Hoc inquires and requests.Job SkillsAudits Compliance, Communication, Critical Thinking, Detail-Oriented, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Industry Knowledge, Internal Controls, Knowledge Organization, Organizational Change Management, Team ManagementAdditional Job DetailsAddress:PERSIARAN IRC 2, IOI RESORT CITY IOI CITY TOWER ONE:PUTRAJAYACity:PutrajayaCountry:MalaysiaWork hours/week:40Employment Type:Full timePlatform:Job Type:RegularPay Type:Posted Date:2026-07-09Application Deadline:2026-09-07Note: Applications will be accepted until 11:59 PM on the day prior to the application deadline date aboveOur Employment OpportunitiesAt RBC, we are guided by living shared values of Client First, Integrity, Collaboration, Respect and Excellence and winning together as One RBC.
