Our radiation therapy for cancer makes treatment shorter, safer, personalized and more effective, ultimately enabling patients to live longer, better lives.Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities Customer Support, Commissioning, and Field WorkDevelops a thorough understanding of all radiation beam measurements and other product specific tests necessary to support both the CyberKnife and TomoTherapy/Radixact products, as well as the tolerances of those measurements and the potential clinical impact of each parameter.Demonstrates a commitment to keeping up with new products, product improvements, software, and procedures relevant to CyberKnife and TomoTherapy/Radixact customers and field support activities.Contribute to the development of Quality Assurance and commissioning tools as requiredTravels to customer sites to assist in the resolution of machine and/or patient-specific Quality Assurance issuesTrains medical physicist customers in the use of the TomoTherapy/Radixact and CyberKnife systems including, but not limited to machine Quality Assurance, absolute dose calibration and applicable alignment and accuracy tests. As necessary, explains basic planning and patient treatment workflow to individuals responsible for patient planning and treatment.Trains customers, including Medical physicists, Radiation therapists, Dosimetrists, in the use of the TomoTherapy/Radixact and CyberKnife systems, including, but not limited to, machine Quality Assurance, absolute dose calibration, and applicable alignment and accuracy tests. Furthermore, conducting clinical training, including treatment planning and patient treatment workflow, and supporting customers to fulfill the TomoTherapy/Radixact or CyberKnife practical patient treatment.Demonstrates consistent professionalism in interactions with customers, both external and internal.Participate in the Physicist On-Call roster as required, following the procedures in the physics on-call guide, including proper tracking and documentation of support activitiesResponds to customer enquiries and issues related to machine and patient QA activities in a timely and professional fashion.Leverage the physics knowledge and clinical experiences relevant to either the TomoTherapy/Radixact or CyberKnife system to support the sales/marketing department to enhance further company advantages.Support and drive upgrade sale...
