RESPONSIBILITIES:The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:Maintain Operational Excellence:Understand the processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping from time of purchase order issuance through the delivery of the cargoApply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and to create solutions in response to challenges both internally and externallyCoordinate tasks on the shipments to meet all customer SOP requirements: booking approvals, processing pre-alerts, governmental filings, executing delivery, ensuring proper invoicing, etc.Facilitate Relationships:Collaborate with our international team members and third-party agents to ensure efficiency, excellent customer service and creative problem resolutionBuild great relationships with customers, responding timely and following up on issue resolutionProvide reporting and documentation support to internal and external customersParticipate in customer business reviewsContribute to seamless forwarding operations across various regions, gaining exposure to unique challenges and client needsQUALIFICATIONSRequired:Minimum 3-5 years of Ocean or Air freight experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programsFluency in English (written and verbal)Knowledge or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International BusinessExcellent customer service skills and follow-up to be utilized with customers and the networkCritical thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needsAbility to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environmentWHAT WE OFFER?Real opportunities to grow your talent in a fast-moving, global organizationA fun, open, and inclusive workplace that encourages innovative thinkingPossibility to develop your language skills in our multilingual officesOpportunities for professional growth with access to tra...
